ADDING AN ENCUMBRANCE

If you would like to place a lien on a vehicle it can be done. For example, if you were to loan someone money and you would like collateral, such as their car, you have the ability. Simply come in with the person that owns the vehicle and bring the title. We can establish an encumbrance on the vehicle and when the title is processed through PennDot, the title will be sent to the lienholder. When the vehicle is paid off, you may sign the title off reflecting the lien has been satisfied and return the title to the owner of the vehicle.
